Film : Lust, Caution

2 02 2008

Ang Lee’s film strikes a deep chord within the viewer, who almost becomes a voyeur. This film also carries a deeper meaning than the story that appears on the surface. There is superb acting from Tang Wei as she plays her role within a role. This dark spy romance has an unexpected twist and brings the film to a sad and thoughtful conclusion. 95% of the film was subtitled, except for a few English-spoken parts. Get some water, switch off your mobile phone, and go see it!

Saw this film too. Like other Ang Lee films it was rather long but you just sit back and enjoy the ride!
